Overview
Our client is a leading force in North Americas energy infrastructure sector driving innovation and sustainability in power generation and transmission. We are seeking an experienced Engineer-Level 2 to join a critical construction project team. This is a hands-on on-site role requiring strong technical expertise and project execution skills within a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support and technical oversight for large-scale energy construction projects.
- Review and interpret construction drawings specifications and design documents.
- Coordinate with project managers contractors and field personnel to ensure engineering standards are met.
- Perform quality assurance checks and support the resolution of technical issues in the field.
- Assist in the development of project scopes schedules and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports progress updates and documentation for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Mechanical Electrical or related Engineering field.
- 6-10 years of progressive engineering experience preferably within power generation transmission or heavy industrial construction.
- Proven experience working directly on construction sites or supporting construction operations.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies codes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with engineering software and MS Office Suite.
- Must be able to work full-time on-site for the duration of the contract.
