Sebenza LLC a leading manufacturing company in Cherokee IA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As the Maintenance Manager you will oversee the development and implementation of maintenance practices to efficiently maintain the operation of the plant equipment grounds building and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks
• Minimum of an Associates degree or the equivalent in experience with knowledge in the electrical and mechanical field.
• Five years of management experience in Food manufacturing industry with bread batter fryer.
• Must have experience in ammonia refrigeration and protein
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Ability to define problems and to resolve them quickly.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plant.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration principles and applications.
• Must be computer literate with the basic skills in Excel and MS Work.
• Must have an understanding of the capabilities of CAD and the use of PLC type equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
• Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment and ensure their timely availability when needed
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and prepare reports as needed
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes for repairs and maintenance services
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve their skills and knowledge
