Essential Functions:
- Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients internal organs and structures.
- Coordinates and oversees clinical rotations for radiology students and observation students across assigned clinical sites.
- Schedules clinical assignments and maintains appropriate student-to-site ratios.
- Ensures compliance with organizational regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Provides guidance mentoring and constructive feedback to support student learning. Maintains accurate records of student performance competencies and clinical hours.
Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement:
Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Valid R category Ohio Radiological License required.
Certifications:
CPR certification required.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures safety standards and patient care.
Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
Experience:
2 years of clinical radiography experience required.
Experience in pediatric setting preferred.
