(HQ) Automation Engineer

This role is responsible for implementing a robust enterprise-level automation framework. Based on user requirements the role focuses on automating repetitive rule-based tasks to drive operational efficiency from different automation tools such as UiPath Power Automate or Alteryx. Additionally this role will leverage AI skills to expand the scope and capabilities of automation solutions. The ultimate goal is to deliver reliable scalable automation components through seamless cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation Framework Implementation (60%)

• Build and improve enterprise-level automation frameworks cross automation tools that align with global architecture and business needs.
• Define the automation roadmap and tool-selection strategy to optimize global station performance.
• Identify automation scenarios and implement automation flow.
• Lead automation solutions rollout to global stations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed processes.

Maintenance & Version Control (20%)

• Manage program versions and requirements using DevOps concept.
• Troubleshoot data flows and optimize framework performance.
• Monitor automation execution ensuring seamless flow and optimizing performance.

Innovation & Optimization (20%)

• Integrate AI skills to enhance and expand automation capabilities.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure component reliability.

Education/Technical Skills

• Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Expertise in UiPath or Power Automate (Senior developer level above).
  
• Proficiency in DevOps for CI/CD and version control
  

Knowledge/ Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UiPath or Power Automate development and solution design.
• 2-year experience in backend development (such as Java Python or API integration).
• Proven experience in automation framework implementation.
  Proven experience in automating operation process areas involving web API and Microsoft applications.
• Proven experience in defining automation roadmaps for complex multi-system environments.
• Experience with Alteryx or other automation tools is highly preferred.
  Business-level fluency in English is a plus.
• Experience with AI integration or OCR experience is a plus.
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
• Experience in the forwarding industry is a plus.
• Experience in team management is a plus.
