Housekeeping Club is a well-established local cleaning company providing high-quality services across Cumbria and North Lancashire. We are looking for a reliable Cleaner / Janitor to join our team in Kendal.
Schedule & Details
Hours: 15 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:45am 3:00pm (term time only)
Salary: 13.50/hr (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Start date: As soon as possible
The Role & Responsibilities
Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitisation of a local school
Cleaning classrooms toilets and shared areas to a high standard
Hoovering mopping dusting and sanitising surfaces
Disposing of rubbish and recyclables
Following cleaning schedules checklists and safety protocols
Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
Working both independently and with team members to maintain efficient operations
Taking responsibility for maintaining consistently high standards
This is an active role where youll be on your feet throughout your shift.
Requirements
Experience working in an organised and methodical way
Previous cleaning experience (desirable)
Awareness of cleaning products and safe handling procedures (desirable)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Right to work in the UK
