Housekeeping Club is a well-established local cleaning company providing high-quality services across Cumbria and North Lancashire. We are looking for a reliable Cleaner / Janitor to join our team in Kendal.

Schedule & Details

• Hours: 15 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:45am 3:00pm (term time only)
• Salary: 13.50/hr (pro rata)
• Contract: Permanent
• Start date: As soon as possible

The Role & Responsibilities

• Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitisation of a local school
• Cleaning classrooms toilets and shared areas to a high standard
• Hoovering mopping dusting and sanitising surfaces
• Disposing of rubbish and recyclables
• Following cleaning schedules checklists and safety protocols
• Monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
• Working both independently and with team members to maintain efficient operations
• Taking responsibility for maintaining consistently high standards
• This is an active role where youll be on your feet throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Experience working in an organised and methodical way
• Previous cleaning experience (desirable)
• Awareness of cleaning products and safe handling procedures (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Right to work in the UK
