Key Responsibilities
- Critical Care Management: Provide intensive nursing care to patients with life-threatening cardiac conditions requiring constant monitoring and rapid intervention
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced skills in IV insertion and phlebotomy to support diagnostic and therapeutic efforts
- Sedation Oversight: Administer and monitor conscious sedation for bedside procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Advanced Monitoring: Manage complex cardiac equipment and interpret hemodynamic to guide patient care plans
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Required Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated Critical Care experience
- At least two (2) years of proficiency in IV Insertion and Phlebotomy
- At least two (2) years of experience with Conscious Sedation
- Required Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License with Primary Source Verification
Certifications
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Proven competency in IV/Phlebotomy
