Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
Location: Gastonia NC 28054
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week (3x12)
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Work Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday requirement

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a wide range of cardiopulmonary conditions and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess treat and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol treatments and ventilator management
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment
• Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience in respiratory therapy required
• Acute care and critical care experience preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program

Certifications & Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
