Data Center Operations Engineer | Experienced Hire

Become a key player in ourMid-Central Datacenter Servicesteam where innovation meets critical infrastructure. Youll support and manage data center technologies across multiple locations inthe Chicago Illinois area ensuring rapid response to technical issues and deployments in our fast-paced trading environment.

Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies including:

• Networking and telecommunications
• Server hardware and software

Location & Schedule

This role is based inthe Chicago Metropolitan Area and involves local travel to our data centers and colocation facilities throughout the region. Since most support activities occurafter trading hours (post 4:30 PM EST) a flexible schedule is essential.

• Strong understanding of technology fundamentals in a critical infrastructure environment
• Experience with server and/or networking installations implementations and/or deployments required
• Knowledge of structured cable environments for high-capacity large scale compute environments
• 1 yearsin technical field support systems administration or data center operations
• Solid knowledge ofWindows and networking; basicLinux/Unixskills a plus
• Experience withserver/network installations and deployments
• Validdrivers licensefor local travel
• Ability tolift/move up to 65 pounds
• Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure (power cooling)
