As a Security Officer Medical Entry Screener in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a government healthcare location where you will help monitor entry points support screening procedures and assist patients visitors and staff with professionalism and care. This role combines customer service communication and attention to detail to help address security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control protocols and/or emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Screen visitors staff and/or vendors at designated entry points by checking identification following posted entry requirements and directing individuals as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report concerns through appropriate site communication channels.
• Monitor entrances lobbies and other assigned areas for unusual activity policy violations and/or unauthorized access to help support security-related operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
