WHAT ARE WE OFFERING
Join the Adelaide Hills Medical Unit (AHMU) as a Consultant General Physician delivering high-quality patient-centred care across multiple sites including Mount BarkerGumerachaand this dynamic role you will assessdiagnoseand manage a broad range of medical presentations working closely with Emergency DepartmentsGPsand community services. You will play a key role in ensuringtimelypatient reviews clear clinicaldecision-makingand effective discharge planning while contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the medical ward andparticipatingin an on-call roster.
As a senior clinician you will provide strong clinical leadership and foster a collaborative multidisciplinary environment supporting and mentoring junior medical staff alongside nursing and allied health teams. You will actively contribute to quality improvement teachingresearchand accreditation activities ensuring care is delivered in line with SA Health policies and best practice standards. - Deliver high-quality inpatient and ambulatory medical care including assessment diagnosis treatment dischargeplanningand ongoing patient review within a multidisciplinary team.
