As a Security Guard Licensed Screening Patrol in Long Island City NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related this people-first role you will support residents and guests with outstanding customer service clear communication and teamwork while bringing integrity reliability and an innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents guests and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location including common areas entrances exits and perimeter areas while helping to identify unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property by observing foot traffic verifying authorized entry when required and reporting suspicious activity maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support a respectful residential environment by providing directions answering questions and communicating professionally with residents visitors and/or onsite personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
