Athletics Communication Intern

Job Summary
Job Duties:
Candidates will assist with all daily operations of the Athletic Communications Department. Responsibilities include serving as the primary media contact for at least three sports such as womens basketball mens and womens soccer womens lacrosse and others. Candidates will also support game-day operations for all additional sports.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong writing and communication skills along with a working knowledge of Statcrew NCAA LiveStats Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Office and social media in a PC environment. Experience with SIDEARM websites as well as social media graphics and video is preferred.
A bachelors degree and at least one year of experience in a sports information or athletic media relations office are required. This position requires evening and weekend availability.
Compensation:
A stipend will be provided along with a campus meal plan when dining halls are open. Benefits are not included. The position will begin in August 2026 and run through May 31 2027.
