STUDENT-Endpoint Systems Technician Student Employee A

The I.T. & A. Endpoint Team is looking for technicians excited to learn and grow in their technical skills! We recommend basic computer literacy and troubleshooting knowledge; however no previous experience is required for this this role you will assist faculty staff and students with their software and hardware troubleshooting and maintenance on college-owned computers.

Time Commitment: Approximately 6-12 hours/week (2-hour blocks of time or more)

Hours: Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM with opportunities for break work

Supervisor: Wyatt Maszczak

Location: Job Hall

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Zoom and other Workplace Applications

• Knowledge in computer hardware software and networking

• Good customer service skills

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to troubleshoot problems in front of users

• Ability to remain calm under pressure

Task and Duties:

• Assist the team with equipment moves removals and adjustments.

• Assist with computer replacement and deployment

• Assist clients with basic computer issues/skills as needed

• Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software issues with computer equipment and accessories

• Help maintain the colleges computer inventory

• Utilize Teams Excel and other Microsoft Office Products for communication and record keeping

• Utilize our ticketing system to communicate and track work for clients

• Visit Computer Labs and client offices to assist with technical issues
