Talent Management Specialist
Job Summary
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Talent Management Specialist on a temporary basis (term up to 12 months).
This role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of talent management programs making it an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys learning by doing. Youll play an essential role by coordinating program delivery maintaining critical talent data and collaborating closely with experienced specialists to ensure smooth execution. This position is primarily a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada. However there is a requirement for periodic in-person presence for team meetings and to provide local Co-op support.
What youll do:
Support the execution of talent management programs (performance succession career development engagement) across the CRS.
Execute project activities by managing timelines preparing communications and presentations hosting information sessions and completing analysis and reporting.
Respond to HR Connect inquiries assisting leaders with support and resources and escalating complex issues as needed.
Maintain talent systems and documentation by updating talent pools succession plans development data and ensuring content remains accurate current and brand aligned.
Compile survey results and talent metrics to identify trends and insights that enable continuous improvement of talent programs.
Who youll work with:
Youll report to the Manager Talent Management and join a collaborative team of Talent Management Specialists who actively support and elevate one another. You will partner closely with HRBPs COE teams and individuals across all levels of the organization. Youll be part of a diverse group that openly shares knowledge supports each others success and works together to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in human resources and:
- Have 1-3 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in human resources.
- Have a bachelors degree preferably majoring in human resources (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Strong Microsoft excel skills are considered an asset.
