Your Impact:

As a Broadcast Channels Operator youll have the unique chance to make the final impact on our customers delivering the latest insights and an unmatched broadcast experience. Working in a fast-paced live environment youll coordinate content feeds and transitions operate control room systems and troubleshoot in real time to ensure high-quality broadcasts across Ladbrokes NEDS and Trackside channels. Your quick decision-making skills will ensure every broadcast hits the mark keeping viewers engaged with up-to-the-minute racing action.

This is a hands-on role with real impact contributing to the success of major racing events. Every broadcast is a high-energy event where your work directly shapes the experience for audiences broadcasters and stakeholders bringing the action to life. A Day in the Life:

This role will be based in our dedicated control room in Auckland. With a 24/7 operation every second counts and youre at the heart of the action. Youll need to thrive in a dynamic environment and be flexible across weekdays weekends nights and public holidays. Heres a snapshot of your day:

• Coordinate with Scheduling Production Master Control and Raceday teams to ensure smooth broadcast delivery.
• Prepare and verify transmission rundowns playlists and content ahead of live broadcasts.
• Operate control room equipment including graphics vision switching and audio mixing.
• Make real-time operational decisions aligned with production needs and channel standards.
• Ensure seamless fault-free transmission with no interruptions or technical issues.
• Provide shift reports outlining issues decisions and equipment faults to support continuous improvement.

Your Strengths:

• Broadcasting experience or a relevant qualification in Digital Media or a similar field.
• Strong understanding of broadcasting operations and workflows ensuring smooth live content delivery.
• Reliable and professional able to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail across graphics audio and broadcast elements.
• Confidence to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of racing is advantageous supporting stronger broadcast delivery and understanding of key moments.
