As a Security Officer - Full Time - Overnights in Waterloo IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine vehicle and foot patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. You will also deliver outstanding customer service communicate clearly and support daily operations with a caring reliable and integrity-driven team.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and perimeter points noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies and report concerns involving restricted areas or company property.
• Support access control incident reporting and other security-related duties assigned for an unarmed patrol post within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
