Job Overview

Looking for a hands-on role that combines innovative robotics with equipment thats stood the test of time Consider the Machine Operator position on the wood processing team at Marvin! The wood processing team converts raw lumber into high-quality machined wood components used in the production of windows and doors across our this roleyoulluse a combination of advanced technology with original machinery to produce high-quality wood products. Plus receive a $2500 sign-on bonus when you join our team!

Safety is a top priority and is deeply embedded in every aspect of the training and daily operations.The first six months include an apprentice-style training program focused on hands-on experience with wood processing equipment. Monday Thursday shift options withpossible overtimeon Friday

Friday Saturday and Sunday shiftoption

  • Days:5:00 am 3:30 pm
  • Evenings: 3:30pm - 1:30am
  • Weekends:6:00am - 6:30pm

Highlights of your role

  • Operate a range of vintage and modern wood manufacturing equipment with a strong focus on safety and precision
  • Use high-performance software and tools to set upaccurateand efficient machining processes
  • Handle the flow of materials by offloading completed parts todesignatedlocations and inputting wood stock for upcoming production
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively respond to changes by making necessary adjustments tomaintainquality and efficiency

Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • Experienceoperatingmulti-head woodworking equipment
  • Solid understanding of machining processes and the ability to resolve complex production scenarios
  • Experience changing tooling independently and safely to support production needs
  • Ability to read and use calipers and other measuring devices to verify parts meet quality and dimensional specifications

Also want to make sure you have

  • Hands-on experience setting up and running CNC or wood processing machinery ideally in a production environment
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and a commitment toworkingsafely
  • Experiencemaintainingtight quality standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
