Job Summary
Job Summary SAP Product Costing Consultant Expert
- Act as subject matter expert for SAP Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC) supporting accurate product costing cost accounting and management reporting.
- Lead and optimize costing processes including standard costing actual costing inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations within SAP.
- Oversee month-end close activities related to product costing ensuring accuracy compliance and data integrity.
- Drive system configuration enhancements and implementations for SAP costing modules; collaborate with IT and business teams to deliver solutions.
- Provide strategic data-driven insights to optimize costs improve business margins and support pricing decisions.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and SOX requirements related to cost accounting and inventory.
- Develop and maintain financial models conduct variance analysis and deliver comprehensive reporting using SAP and advanced Excel.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance Operations IT) to align costing processes with business objectives.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance costing knowledge and system proficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation analytics and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Support change management efforts to drive adoption of new processes tools and systems.
- Work independently in a remote environment managing multiple priorities and projects.
