Job Summary

Job Title: Python Developer with AWS

Location: Raleigh NC (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract

Tax Terms: C2C W2

Responsibilities:

Develop Python-based data enrichment and transformation workflows.
Create and support ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services
Build or update the business logic in CEP as per the requirements.
Convert requirements into clean testable technical implementations
Build serverless applications using AWS (Lambda SQS DynamoDB EventBridge API Gateway S3).
Improve reliability performance and security of cloud workflows
Investigate issues analyze logs and perform root cause analysis.
Ensure smooth operations and quick recovery from failures
Write clean maintainable Python code.
Occasionally contribute to Java components when needed
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Automate testing deployments and environment setups.
Break down user stories estimate work and deliver in sprints.
Collaborate with product QA and platform teams

Skills:

Strong Python development experience
Advanced SQL for data transformations and validations
Deep AWS expertise especially:
SQS DynamoDB Lambda EventBridge
API Gateway CloudWatch IAM S3
Experience building serverless and event driven architectures
Hands on experience with ETL pipelines (Glue Airflow Spark or similar)
CI/CD pipeline development and Git proficiency
Production support and debugging experience
