DHHS ITD requires the services of a specialist in the role of a Senior Salesforce Developer to support efforts across the NC FAST/Green application portfolio.
The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a contract Senior Salesforce Developer to design and deliver end to end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud. This role supports mission critical public sector programs across case management licensing service operations and related workflows. The position ensures all solutions align with program objectives technical standards security requirements and long term platform strategy while leveraging both declarative and programmatic capabilities to build scalable maintainable systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and engineering: Lead integration designs blueprinting and configuration strategies.
Development: Develop Apex Lightning Web Components Flows OmniScripts Integration Procedures DataRaptors and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
Discovery and requirements: Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements evaluate solution options and recommend best fit approaches.
Release management readiness: Review Salesforce Spring Summer and Winter release notes to identify breaking changes deprecations new settings and feature impacts. Assess how platform updates affect existing systems integrations and guide teams through required remediation.
Coordination and communication: Collaborate with vendors product owners administrators QA teams and business stakeholders to plan and execute updates enhancements and cross-team deliverables.
- AI-enablement: Apply AI driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions including identifying practical use cases incorporating intelligent automation and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
- Architecture & governance: Enforce Salesforce architectural standards data models integration patterns and development guardrails to ensure long term maintainability scalability and compliance across programs.
- Security & compliance: Implement and validate security controls.
