Job Summary

Heres the absolute key skills needed:

Clear track records performing Video Infrastructure and/or Platform operations engineering and support
Hands on experience with Synamedia Quortex & vDCM is highly desired; If they do not have this then the close competitor technology would be needed. These competitors can be Amagi MediaKind Broadpeak BrightCove Zixi etc.
Must have recently like within the past 5 years worked for a streaming video broadcast company. The top companies include: Uplynk Verizon Media (not Verizon must be Verizon Media) Comcast/Xfinity (must have worked on the X1 platform specifically)
Other good companies that they worked for: Netflix Disney Amazon Prime Video Hulu YouTube/YouTubeTV NBC Universal or other streaming companies.
Ideal location is in Virginia near Reston or Ashburn. But anywhere within the Washington DC metro is ok.
If a strong candidate is located outside the WashDC metro they must be 100% agreeable and committed to relocate themselves immediately to either Reston or Ashburn VA. No relocation assistance is available.

Must meet many of Required skills priority given to candidates with any of the Ideal/Preferred skills.
