Position: Quality Control Associate/Technician
Work Location: Lancaster TX 75134
Payrate: $18.00/hr
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: (Sun - Thu) 7am until EOD

Job Description:

Responsible for in-plant process testing and compliance to standards using quality and food safety policy.

Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
-
Monitor the quality of the product manufactured and inspect process controls points
-
Reject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerances
-
Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork
-
May use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data
-
Establish maintain and promote good communications with all departments
-
Perform other tasks and duties as needed
Skills
-
Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control environment is preferred.
-
Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
-
Able to utilize standard processes procedures and equipment.
-
Prior experience with HACCP a plus
-
Able to perform essential math functions including addition subtraction division and multiplication.
Experience

General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred
-
Prior work in a related field would be an advantage.

Certificate in Food Handling Culinary Arts or other related training or education is helpful.

Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words rules of composition and grammar.

Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization
