Job Summary
Position: Quality Control Associate/Technician
Work Location: Lancaster TX 75134
Payrate: $18.00/hr
Duration: 3 Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: (Sun - Thu) 7am until EOD
Dress Code: Non-Slip Closed-Toed Shoes Warm Jackets Clothing Layers.

Job Description:
- Responsible for in-plant process testing and compliance to standards using quality and food safety policy.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
- Monitor the quality of the product manufactured and inspect process controls points
- Reject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerances
- Responsible for timely completion and accuracy of paperwork
- May use computer software and electronic equipment to enter data
- Establish maintain and promote good communications with all departments
- Perform other tasks and duties as needed
Skills
- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Able to utilize standard processes procedures and equipment.
- Prior experience with HACCP a plus
- Able to perform essential math functions including addition subtraction division and multiplication.
Experience
- General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred
- Prior work in a related field would be an advantage.
- Certificate in Food Handling Culinary Arts or other related training or education is helpful.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words rules of composition and grammar.
- Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and/or equipment utilization
