Job Summary
Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer (SD ET)
We are looking for a Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in backend and API test automation to support cloud-native microservices-based systems. The role is hands-on and requires close collaboration with developers and DevOps teams in an Agile client-facing environment.
Required Experience & Technical Skills:
6 years of experience in QA / Test Automation / SDET roles
Strong experience testing backend systems and APIs
Strong experience in test automation frameworks
Solid API automation testing (RestAssured Postman etc.)
Proficiency in Python or Java
Experience testing microservices and distributed systems
Working experience with AWS Docker and Kubernetes environments
Cl/CD integration experience (Jenkins GitH ub Actions GitLab etc.)
Experience with logging/monitoring tools like Kibana / ELK
Strong understanding of test strategies automation best practices and SDLC
Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter
Exposure to Kafka / event-driven systems
Responsibilities:
Design & develop test cases
Design and maintain automated test frameworks
Develop and execute API integration and regression automation
Integrate automated tests into Cl/CD pipelines
Validate backend systems deployed on cloud and Kubernetes
Collaborate with developers to ensure quality-first delivery
Support defect analysis monitoring and continuous improvement
