Senior Informatica IDMC Consultant

Job Title: Senior Informatica IDMC Consultant Product & Vendor MDM (SaaS / Cloud ONLY)

Location: Irving TX- 3 days/week work from office (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday)

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Informatica IDMC Consultant to lead Product and Vendor (Supplier) Master Data Management initiatives using Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud) on IDMC.

This role requires DIRECT HANDS-ON experience with Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud).
Candidates with only on-prem Informatica MDM will not be considered.

We are specifically seeking candidates with proven experience using Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC) to design and implement Product and Vendor (Supplier) mastering solutions including complex domain modeling relationships and governance.

What You Will Own

• End-to-end implementation of Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) for Product & Vendor domains
• Design and delivery of scalable high-performance MDM solutions with a focus on operational efficiency and maintainability
• Strong data modeling ownership including:
  • Designing scalable product and vendor domain models
  • Defining attributes hierarchies classifications and taxonomy structures
  • Modeling cross-domain relationships (Product Vendor)
  • Ensuring models support governance performance and downstream consumption
• Build and manage full IDMC pipelines:
  • CDI (Cloud Data Integration) ingestion transformation large-scale pipelines
  • CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) profiling cleansing standardization validation
  • CAI (Cloud Application Integration) API-led event-driven real-time integrations
• Design and implement publication and distribution strategies:
  • Configure MDM SaaS publication jobs and outbound data flows
  • Enable downstream consumption via Kafka APIs and event-driven architectures
• Implement and optimize:
  • Advanced match/merge and survivorship frameworks
  • Cross-system data consistency and synchronization strategies
  • Exception handling and error management frameworks
• Establish and enforce:
  • Role-based access control (RBAC) and security models
  • Data governance and stewardship workflows
• Drive performance tuning and scalability across:
  • MDM SaaS configurations
  • Data pipelines and integrations
  • Matching and publication processes
• Lead CI/CD and environment setup:
  • Promotion strategies across environments (Dev QA Prod)
  • Deployment automation and version control
  • Environment configuration and release management
• Troubleshoot and resolve:
  • Data quality issues
  • Integration failures
  • Performance bottlenecks

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Strict)

• 8 12 years of Informatica experience with recent hands-on Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)
• Proven expertise using Informatica Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) for Product and/or Vendor mastering
• Strong data modeling experience is REQUIRED including:
  • Product catalogs attributes classifications and hierarchies
  • Vendor/supplier domain modeling and relationships
  • Cross-domain modeling and normalization
• Strong hands-on experience across:
  • CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
  • CDQ (Cloud Data Quality)
  • CAI (Cloud Application Integration)
• Hands-on experience with:
  • MDM SaaS publication frameworks and outbound data distribution
  • Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
  • Role-based access control and governance models
  • Performance tuning and scalability in cloud environments
  • CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments
• You MUST have:
  • Delivered at least one full Multi-Domain MDM SaaS (Cloud) implementation (Product or Vendor) in production
  • Hands-on configuration experience within Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud UI and services)
  • Built end-to-end data pipelines (batch real-time) across IDMC

• Only on-prem Informatica MDM experience
• No hands-on work in Informatica MDM SaaS (Cloud / IDMC)
• No experience using Multi-Domain MDM SaaS for Product or Vendor mastering
• No experience with publication frameworks or Kafka/event streaming
• No experience with CI/CD or environment promotion strategies
• Experience limited to support migration or admin-only roles
