Are you looking to build HR Business Partner capability in a unionized public-sector environment with exposure to employee relations labour relations talent acquisition and HR operations We are seeking a Human Resources Advisor to support designated client groups by delivering expert and strategically driven HR advice. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting employees and leaders while ensuring compliance with legislation collective agreements and best practices in human You Will Do (but not limited to):Serve as a primary point of contact for clients providing expert advice and guidance on complex HR the Sr. HRBP by conducting in-depth consultations with clients offering strategic solutions and navigating them through intricate HR challenges with professionalism and subject matter expertise and fostering client empowerment on HR best practices compliance and relevant legislative updatesLead and facilitate high-level client meetings offering insights recommendations and strategic direction to address organizational HR needs and ownership of complex HR cases managing them through to resolution while building strong client relationships and abreast of industry trends legal developments and best practices in HR and employment legislation actively participating in ongoing training and professional development to internal protocols and procedures for managing and escalating cases as necessary demonstrating sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive HR to the development implementation and maintenance of HR policies programs projects and document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to assigned HR and coordinate internal communications to support HR programs and general HR support and administration across multiple functional and ensure job descriptions are current accurately filed and maintained in accordance with organizational to inquiries related to collective agreements HR policies procedures and programs ensuring consistency and directly with hiring managers to deliver full-cycle recruitment for positions up to Senior Manager level with back-up support for the Director-level all recruitment activities comply with collective agreement provisions HR policies and applicable legislation including the Human Rights Code and and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future recruitment the Senior Manager Human Resources in the development and execution of the organizations recruitment with the Diversity Inclusion & Accessibility (DI&A) team to adopt and embed inclusive recruitment with internal partners to ensure the HRIS supports efficient and effective talent acquisition Have: Post-secondary education in Human Resources Labour Relations or a related five (5) years of progressive human resources experience including: High volume full cycle recruitment (technical and non-technical roles)HR operations and administrationLabour relations in a unionized environmentExposure to Total Rewards and HRISDemonstrated experience administering and interpreting a collective using Applicant Tracking depth knowledge of HR best practices principles policies and understanding of employment and labour legislation including ESA AODA OHS and the Human Rights organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast paced matrixed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice and prepare professional judgment strong problem-solving abilities and effective decision-making level of discretion professionalism and to work independently and collaboratively under in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio).Knowledge of conflict management principles and practices.A self-starter with an enthusiasm for exceptional service successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background to Have:Working toward CHRP or CHRL designation through HRPA is a strong and/or Oracle Fusion experience is preferred.
