Job Summary
Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing Southern Nevada office in Las Vegas. Our firm focuses on Industrial Insurance Litigation representing a diverse client base that includes employers insurers and third-party administrators.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to develop strong litigation skills while working closely with experienced and specialized attorneys in a collaborative environment.

- Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence as well as conduct thorough legal research on each case.
- Strategize and plan with clients and cases ensuring meticulous attention to detail in every case.
- Make sure that case files are up-to-date and organized by daily use of the electronic case management system Filevine.
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships not just representation.
- Pay attention to industry trends and developments while staying informed on Nevada statutes and regulations.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment and under multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to meet or exceed the monthly billing requirement while using electronic legal billing software Clio.
- Member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Adaptable flexible reliable and accountable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while also working independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines.
