Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician supports the success of operations by delivering high-quality service with a strong focus on safety quality and productivity. This role is responsible for applying uptime and reliability strategies to maximize operational efficiency and capacity ultimately delivering value to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate collaborates across teams and works with a variety of equipment and processes to ensure commitments and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

Status Hourly Non-Exempt Position Type Full-time Hours 40-45 hours Schedule M-F

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop a working knowledge of product lines and processes across all value streams
• Utilize CMMS to complete track and document maintenance tasks
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance including condition monitoring
• Use a variety of tools to repair align measure assemble and disassemble equipment
• Follow and enforce safe work practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Understand equipment design functionality and operational requirements
• Provide machining and fabrication support (e.g. extrusion tooling machine parts flow racks)
• Share knowledge and train team members to support skill development
• Accurately charge parts and labor to jobs to maintain asset history and data integrity
• Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may evolve and include cross-departmental support

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical or trade school training preferred
• 12 years of maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance is a plus
