As a Security Officer Badge Room Associate in Jackson MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic utilities location where you will help monitor entry points verify badges and credentials conduct routine patrols and support security-related operations with strong customer service and this role you will contribute to a caring culture built on agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while helping create a welcoming and well-managed environment.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and authorizations and document visitor and vehicle access in accordance with post orders and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas checkpoints and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities access exceptions and incident details and support site operations by reporting maintenance issues policy violations and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of 1 years is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
