The Position

Purpose of the Job

Provide assistance to the applications support and training to customers of RDHK

Main Tasks :

• Provide guided field applications support to Molecular Solutions customers

• Update and communicate application information regularly

• Assist in daily operation activities of CDI Applications Team

Accountabilities

Provide guided field applications support to Molecular Solutions (MS) customers

• To provide applications and troubleshooting support for customers in MS product portfolio under supervision

• Perform application installation evaluation & site inspection under supervision

• Regularly update all relevant account-related and daily activities via REXIS or equivalent system to ensure proper customer care and monitoring and resolution

• Keep up-to date knowledge including instrument operation and application related information

Update and communicate application information regularly

• Visit and check regularly intranet/emails and all available channels to keep up-to-date application information

• To communicate with the MS team and headquarters on all relevant application issues

• Ensure important information are passed to colleagues and relevant customers and follow up actions areperformed as per RDHKL compliance guidelines

Assist in daily operation activities of CDI - Applications Team

• Provide assistant support to the team when necessary

• Assist Applications Supervisor to maintain and achieve teams KPI and quality standards

• Assist Applications Supervisor to organize activities to the team

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Molecular Science Biochemistry Biomedical Science Biology or other related major disciplines

Work experience:

• Preferably 1 year working experience in Applications Support or clinical laboratory

• Fresh graduate is also welcome

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skill

• Good presentation skill

• Good negotiation and influencing skill

Language:

• Fluency in English and Cantonese Mandarin is preferable.

Special Knowledge:

• Clinical Laboratory Workflow and clinical analyzers

• Knowledge in Molecular diagnosis and Tissue diagnosis

• Knowledge in next-generation sequencing preferred

• Proficient in common computer software knowledge including Word Excel Power Point etc
