Job Summary
Corporate Hiring Solutions Inc. is hiring 2 (Two) Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to lead clinical operations within a hospital-based psychiatric unit in Brooklyn NY. This role requires strong leadership in behavioral health psychiatric nursing and hospital operations management ensuring high-quality patient care compliance and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee behavioral health unit operations and daily clinical workflow
- Lead and supervise psychiatric nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with NYSDOH JCAHO OMH DOH regulations
- Manage patient admissions discharges and care coordination
- Drive quality improvement (QI) performance improvement (PI) and patient safety initiatives
- Monitor clinical outcomes reporting and regulatory audits
- Support budgeting staffing scheduling and resource management
- Provide leadership coverage and maintain 24/7 operational readiness
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years Registered Nurse (RN) experience
- Minimum 5 years in behavioral health / psychiatric nursing
- Minimum 2 years in nurse leadership / nurse manager role
- Mandatory: Experience managing a psych unit in a hospital setting
- Strong skills in clinical leadership team management and compliance
Education:
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Required
- MSN (Masters in Nursing) Preferred
Certifications and amp; Licensure:
- Active New York State RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS Certification
- Crisis Prevention Certifications (PMCS / CPI / TRUST)
