As a Security Officer Badge Screening in Renton WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location where you will help manage access control monitor assigned areas and support security-related operations with professionalism and this role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entrances checkpoints and credentialing points helping to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification visitor authorization and delivery documentation in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity access control issues and other security-related conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
