Overview

What You Will Do

As a Warehouse Coordinator you will cover a multitude of disciplines such as overseeing the movement and storage of goods throughout the warehouse managing warehouse inventory and maintaining a database. Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.

A Typical Day at Prime Controls

  • Schedule materials to be moved to and from offsite storage facility
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
  • Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents in conjunction with delivery schedules.
  • Assist personnel with material transfers throughout warehouse and to offsite locations
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
  • Train new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities utilized in the performance of their job.
  • Receive merchandise as per packing lists in our Purchasing/Accounting module. Scan and file copies of packing lists onto server.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure Inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
  • Document all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

What You Will Bring

  • Ability to operate a forklift order picker pallet jack and other warehouse equipment; operate as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • Ability to direct the warehouse team in standard warehouse operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and meet competing demands.
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven traits in dependability initiative high energy and proficient in time management.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Previous warehouse experience .
  • Forklift Operator Certification.

Work Environment & Physical Demands (Text Only)

Physical requirements and work environment expectations vary by position. Generally roles at Prime Controls may involve moderate noise occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and depending on the role work at heights or around airborne particles and electrical components. Physical activities may include standing walking sitting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling as well as the use of hands arms and voice communication. Some roles may require lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements may include close vision distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
