Position Summary

We are seeking a Service Consultant who values outstanding customer service and has strong communication skills. This role involves interacting with customers assessing vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate is professional customer-focused and knowledgeable about automotive services.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet service customers promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
• Inspect vehicles and review service history to accurately identify customer service needs.
• Promote applicable services parts and accessories by understanding product offerings and service requirements.
• Provide accurate cost estimates and estimated completion times and obtain customer authorization for services.
• Monitor service progress and communicate any changes in cost or timing to customers for approval.
• Manage warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Confirm service appointments by phone prior to customer arrival and conduct follow-up after service completion.
• Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure quality and communicate service results to customers.
• Comply with state and federal automobile repair and consumer protection laws.
• Exemplify company values in all interactions with customers coworkers and vendors.

Working Hours

This is a full-time in-person position based in Jackson TN.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of experience as a service advisor preferred but not required.
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record for the state of employment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.

• Ability to work efficiently in a process-oriented environment.
