POSITION SUMMARY
The Hostess is the first impression and gracious ambassador of refined hospitality responsible for welcoming guests into an atmosphere of elegance warmth and exclusivity within a luxury French Mediterranean fine dining restaurant. With poise professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills the Hostess curates a seamless arrival experience that sets the tone for an extraordinary culinary journey.
This role requires a refined sense of service attentiveness to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs from the very first interaction. The Hostess manages reservations with precision ensures smooth table flow and maintains close coordination with the Captain and service team to deliver a balanced and personalized dining experience.
Upholding the highest standards of grooming etiquette and brand presentation the Hostess embodies sophistication and discretion while engaging guests with genuine warmth. Through graceful communication and thoughtful guest recognition the Hostess contributes to creating a welcoming yet exclusive ambiance that reflects the prestige and refined character of a world-class fine dining establishment.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand sit or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
