Job Summary
We are seeking a skilledMaintenance Technicianto join our 3rd shift automotive manufacturing team. They will be responsible for the comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems. They will be critical part of our production environment ensuring the peak performance of CNC Lathes Warm Forge Presses and other specialized manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair complex industrial electrical systems and components according to electrical codes and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions on production machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operator safety.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical and mechanical parts including AC/DC drives servo motors and PLCs.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance (PM) and inspections to prevent equipment breakdowns and optimize machinery lifespan.
- Troubleshoot high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems including pumps valves and actuators.
- Interpret and work from complex electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints and schematics.
- Document all maintenance activities including detailed logs of repairs inspections and parts replacements.
- Perform mechanical repairs and adjustments on CNC Lathes and Warm Forge Presses in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with engineers fellow technicians and plant personnel to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Utilize basic computer skills and software to log maintenance tickets and track equipment performance data.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all automotive-grade safety and quality standards.
- Support shift flexibility and mandatory overtime requirements to meet production demands and project deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 4 years of experience with AC/DC drives servo motors PLCs and industrial controls
- Advanced ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
- Working knowledge of hydraulic mechanical and pneumatic blueprints/schematics
- Experience in a production-oriented environment (Automotive/CNC/Forge preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer literacy
- Having a robust electrical troubleshooting background are highly prioritized.
- Prior experience repairing and maintaining CNC machines and mechanical presses is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnosing issues within various industrial control systems and PLCs.
