Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to support our school community. Volunteers play an important role in enhancing the educational experience by assisting staff supporting students and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers and staff with classroom activities and daily tasks
- Support students with academic and enrichment activities as directed
- Help supervise students during events transitions or designated times
- Assist with school events programs and special activities
- Provide general support in areas such as the front office library or cafeteria
- Encourage a positive respectful and inclusive environment for all students
- Follow school policies procedures and staff direction at all times
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with students and staff
Qualifications
- Interest in supporting students and the school community
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers
- Dependable and punctual
- Bilingual (preferred but not required)
- Background check may be required depending on role and level of involvement
Work Schedule
- Flexible scheduling based on volunteer availability and school needs
- Opportunities may be available during school hours evenings or special events
