Software Engineer III Platform (Fullstack ReactJS, Java, Python, AWS)

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

• Executes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Design develop and maintain secure highquality production code using modern programming languages (Java JavaScript/TypeScript Python) following SDLC and enterprise engineering standards.
• Build and maintain microservices and API-driven architectures developing and integrating RESTful APIs and supporting event-driven or real-time use cases where appropriate.
• Produce and review architecture and design artifacts for complex systems ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and non-functional requirements (security performance resiliency scalability).
• Write clean maintainable well-documented and testable production code; actively participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues across development test and production environments.
• Support platform stability through proactive monitoring issue resolution and continuous optimization.
• Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and integrations.
• Implement operational best practices including logging monitoring alerting and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotations as required driving improvements through post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Product Design QA SRE and Platform teams within an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills:

• Formal training or certification on system design concepts and 3 years applied experience
• 5 years experience inReact(including hooks state management and component architecture) andPython
• Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
• Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms particularly or similar workflow/project management tools.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design development testing deployment and support.
• Proven experience in full-stack development covering both front-end and back-end systems.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java JavaScript/TypeScript Python).
• Experience designing and building distributed systems APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of Agile practices CI/CD application resiliency and security best practices.
• Build enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Jenkins GitLab CI.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• SCIM integration for Enterprise application access management
• Experience with Databricks integration for cloud applications
• Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms particularly or similar workflow/project management tools.
• Experience with observability tools (logging metrics tracing) and production engineering practices.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms and enterprise workflow automation.
• Experience working in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments.

• Deploy manage and operate applications in AWS leveraging services such as ECS Lambda S3 RDS API Gateway and container platforms.
