Control & Safety Systems Engineer
Job Summary
As a Control & Safety Systems Engineer you will design implement and optimize industrial automation and safety systems that ensure reliable compliant and efficient operations for our customers. You will play a key role across the full project lifecyclefrom concept and design through to commissioning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Solution Delivery
- Design and develop control and safety system solutions (e.g. DCS SIS PLC) based on customer requirements and industry standards
- Perform feasibility studies simulations and testing to validate design concepts
- Translate technical and business requirements into robust engineering specifications
Implementation & Commissioning
- Configure test and deploy control and safety systems at customer sites
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Ensure systems are delivered on time within scope and meet quality standards
Standards Compliance & Safety
- Apply and contribute to engineering standards specifications and best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. functional safety IEC standards)
- Conduct inspections and assessments to verify system integrity and safety
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Execute tasks within project plans timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers during project delivery
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes tools and methodologies
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and digital/automation advancements
- Support knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation reports and specifications
- Maintain project documentation in line with quality and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Automation Control Systems or related)
- Proven experience in control and/or safety systems engineering within industrial environments
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. IEC 61508 / 61511) is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
