Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

UnderstandPlantand Team KPIs.

Support the launch of new products and processes

Manufacture feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and PFMEA on new products

Monitor assembly equipment through production start-up

Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow chart) fornew programs

Write process specifications and make recommendationsregardingergonomic improvements

Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches(Autocad)

Simulate continuousimprovement process in plants (KAIZENS JUST DO IT) with theobjectiveof MEQ.

Work with SD-Teams to complete product launches

Stimulate TPM in new projects

Ergonomic analysis

Production equipment and tooling specificationpurchaseand acceptance

Capital equipment budget planningand tracking use industrial engineering methods todeterminethe assembly time (MTM).

Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time)

Monitor and audit manufacturingbest practices and standards in the plant

Improvement strategies:Participateand/or lead activities for manufacturingfootprint analysis continuous improvement of new and/or ongoing manufacturing process and lean manufacturing implementation.
