Polish English Medical Interpreter

Language Bridge Solutions is currently seeking experienced PolishEnglish Medical Interpreters to support healthcare communication through Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI).

This is a remote opportunity open globally with preference given to candidates based in Poland and other European locations.

In this role you will facilitate real-time communication between healthcare providers and Polish-speaking patients ensuring that all information is conveyed accurately clearly and without omission. You will support a variety of medical interactions including consultations follow-ups telehealth visits and other patient-provider communications.

Interpreters are expected to maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare workflows ensuring that complex information is interpreted correctly. You will also be responsible for preserving tone intent and context while remaining neutral and professional always.

This role requires strict adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards. You will work within a secure remote environment ensuring that all sensitive information is handled appropriately.

Cultural awareness is essential as you will support communication across different backgrounds helping both parties feel understood. You must be able to manage sensitive or high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.

Additionally you will use remote interpreting platforms for both video and audio sessions ensuring smooth communication and resolving minor technical issues when needed. You will be expected to meet quality and performance standards while participating in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements

Candidates can be based worldwide with preference for those located in Poland and Europe.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Applicants must be native or near-native Polish speakers with advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) with the ability to interpret complex medical conversations in real time accurately.

Proven experience in medical interpreting is mandatory. Candidates must have prior experience supporting healthcare-related interactions. Applications without medical interpreting experience will not be considered.

Strong communication and listening skills are essential along with high attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should be professional customer-oriented and able to handle sensitive situations with confidence and discretion.

A quiet secure and distraction-free workspace is required to ensure confidentiality during all interpreting sessions.
