Sr. Technical Writer

SRC is searching for a well-rounded Senior Technical Writer with experience creating formal documentation (e.g. technical orders manuals and instructions) to support design installation and configuration of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure for Command and Control Facilities (C2F) in the Colorado Springs area. Integration and engineering for IT systems will be conducted at the governments facilities in Colorado Springs CO.

• Performing comprehensive technical writing tasks within a team of systems engineers network engineers and infrastructure engineers supporting USSPACECOM activities
• Supporting engineering staff by helping to drive documents through the review process
• Reviewing and editing documents written by engineering staff to ensure the information is conveyed clearly and concisely
• Ensuring conformance with appropriate standards and style guide

• 10 years of professional experience creating editing and reviewing technical materials
• 5-10 years of experience providing technical writing support within IT engineering teams
• Bachelors degree
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Publisher

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL.
