Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician to join a busy well-established convention center. This role is responsible for maintaining the facility troubleshooting issues and ensuring all systems are running safely and efficiently for events and daily operations.

Perform routine maintenance on building systems (HVAC electrical plumbing)

Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues

Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections

Respond quickly to maintenance requests during events

Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment

Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed

Requirements

Maintenance certification required (HVAC electrical or related)

Previous experience in commercial or facility maintenance preferred

Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems

Ability to use hand and power tools

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if needed

Required Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in a maintenance role or similar. Basic understanding of electrical hydraulic and other systems. Knowledge of tools commonly used in a maintenance setting. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings. Good physical condition and strength. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions. Must be able to pass drug & background screenings.
