IMEG is hiring a Senior Crew Chief in Nashua NH to deliver accurate field data for land surveying this role youll direct assigned field team members to complete assigned survey field work while supporting training and mentorship of Crew Chiefs as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of assigned field team members to acquire survey field data and complete assigned land surveying field projects
• Operate maintain and care for survey equipment data collection and other geodetic and reality capture equipment
• Transfer files between data collection and internal company project folders
• Perform quality checks and processing of field data; download maintain and verify accuracy of project data reports and managing database
• Maintain professional and productive working relationships with clients and coworkers
• Oversee and train individuals to operate survey equipment including total station GPS levels and data collectors for use in the collection of field survey data
• Mentor Crew Chiefs as assigned and work closely with the Office Coordinator on field training and supervision of field team members
• Operate a company vehicle and observe safety and security procedures

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Associates degree or certificate in Land Surveying Civil Engineering Technology or Civil Engineering preferred
• 12 years of experience minimum required 16 preferred in the land surveying or construction industry preferred
• Advanced knowledge of surveying fundamentals and procedures recognized in the region work is being performed
• Knowledge of modern survey equipment devices and methods
• Experience with Trimble Leica Robotic Total Stations Data Collectors and GPS preferred
• Self-Starter and ability to demonstrate advanced problem solving techniques
• Knowledge of jurisdictional and industry requirements
• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• Possesses oral and written communication skills
• Ability to professionally represent IMEG
• SIT (Surveyor In Training) preferred but not required
• Ability to collect field data in an organized neat and professional manner for boundary topography for design purposes and construction stakeout projects.
• Valid drivers license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
• Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and Outlook
• Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays
