Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures visitor management protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials check badges and/or confirm visitor authorization to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business lobby areas restricted zones and perimeter as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow at entrances support delivery and visitor check-in processes and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive access control practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.

Required Qualifications: 2 years of Physical Security Experience and Ability to speakread and write the English language fluently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Computer skills and proficiency; Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Applications
• Proficiently skilled in the use of technology such as a desktop computer and mobile applications to document activities and tasks
• Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency
• Ability to quickly and efficiently analyse high stress situations to determine the proper communication of events and to dispatch the proper teams to determine the best course of action to take
