Estimated annual base pay:

  • $17.15 (min) - $25.22 (mid)- $33.28 (max)

  • 1st Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm

Are you ready to make your mark If youre a CMM Operator 1 we have an exciting opportunity for you.

  • The CMM Operator is responsible for the operation and inspection of the CMM machine the analysis and interpretation of blueprints manuals and other materials to determine specifications to inspect and test procedures and to communicate technical information to others in an industrial setting. This position typically works under a high level of supervision.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Operate CMM machine to inspect parts.

  • Program and operate specialized inspection equipment (e.g. Talyrond Nikon vision system CMMs) and discuss inspection results with those responsible.

  • Analyze and interpret blueprints routings evaluation sheets manuals and other materials to determine specifications inspection and testing procedures adjustment and certification methods

  • Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity including walking standing or bending; and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions such as wearing protective clothing or gear.

What We Are Looking For

  • US High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • At least 6 months related work experience required

  • Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques (e.g. formalized inspection standards inspection instructions best practices) and use inspection tools efficiently.

  • The ability to read and use micrometers functional and cylindrical gauges comparators indicator setups scales.

  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance including the ability to define tolerances on prints and perform inspection techniques.

  • Knowledge of CMM operations including setup and controls.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
