Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join an Ambulatory Care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient environment and demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/outpatient setting
- Perform patient assessments and monitor health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on care plans and follow-up instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Ambulatory care or urgent care experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license New York State
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
