At Havasu Regional Medical Center our Certified Nursing Assistants are an essential part of the care team providing compassionate hands-on support to patients each day. How youll contribute

A Transporter/ CNA who excels in this role:

  • Transports patients via wheelchair stretcher or bed to designated sites as requested including patients with oxygen tanks intravenous pumps drips monitors and other equipment.
  • Assists patients with entering and exiting vehicles including transfer from or to wheelchairs or stretchers.
  • Delivers equipment and specimens to requesting staff or department.
  • Assists staff with removal of deceased bodies from units and transport to morgue.
  • Greets and provides information and direction to patients and visitors.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with patient care experience; able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate flexibility in supporting both the OR and PACU as needed.
  • Assists with operating room turnover between surgical cases including cleaning and preparing the OR and ensures rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies for upcoming procedures.
  • Participates in weekend call rotation (7:00 AM7:00 PM) 12 weekends per month and supports additional departmental responsibilities as needed.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Arizona state CNA or LNA license. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Additional requirements include:

  • Certifications: BCLS required within 30 days of hire. Handle with Care preferred.
  • Licenses: Arizona CNA license or LNA license required upon hire
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
