UCT is looking for a talented Facilities Technician IIIto join us in Singapore!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To maintain parts cleaning production equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules maintenance and repair manuals and production planning. Seeks assistance when needed.
• To repair parts cleaning production equipment in accordance with maintenance and repair schedules maintenance and repair manuals and production planning. Seeks assistance when needed.
• To install production equipment and non-production site installations in accordance with installation plans and instructions from supervisor.
• To ensure equipment and installation spare parts are in stock and to order new supply in accordance with purchasing procedures.
• To jointly work with external contractors on repair maintenance and installation jobs.
• To ensure that all relevant safety procedures environmental procedures regulatory and statutory requirements are met.
• To bring up suggestions for further improvement of production facility and work methods.
• Safe use and disposition of hazardous chemicals is required.
• Participation in Quality Assurance program safety program and completion of various trainings. Must be able to identify the occurrence of departures from the quality system.
• Daily routine inspection of facilities and wastewater treatment plant and scrubber system.
• Maintain the wastewater treatment plant RO/De-ionized water system and scrubber system. Ensure the treated wastewater is compliance with sewer discharge limit.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in technical discipline

Experience Requirement:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Flexibility to work on overtime/stand-by/on-call/holidays when required
• Minimum 2 years hand-on maintenance and repairs experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience to operate the wastewater plant.
• Mechanical and basic electrical experience is required.

• Candidates with experience working in chemical/semiconductor related industry will be preferred.

• Time Management- Well-developed planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently prioritize activities meet commitments and proactively manage time and a challenging workload.
