Job Summary
Kowloon Junior School (KJS) is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Educational Assistant starting August 2026.
Whilst previous working experience in early years education and/or with children who hasmoderate special educational needs would be an advantage our main goal at KJS is to employ staff who are confident and comfortable working with groups of children across the primary phase and passionate about learning to achieve our vision of Success for Every Child.
Key Responsibilities
- To actively support all students in a balanced school curriculum
- Assist in the implementation and planning of Individual EducationPrograms for students and the monitoring of students academic progress
- Monitor students responses to learning tasks through a range of assessment activities providing feedback to teachers
- Assist in the maintaining of student records
- To support the department by taking on practical roles of responsibility for administrative managerial and auditing activities
- To join and work cohesively within a highly motivated and professional group of teachers
- Linking and communicating effectively with support staff

Requirements
The successful candidate will be someone who hasa positive can do attitudeand enthusiasm to provide quality support across the campus. He/She will have excellent organisational skills and relish working as part of a team. His/Her excellent spoken and written English coupled with warm personality and strong interpersonal skills will enable him/her to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
The successful candidate must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid dependent visa to work in Hong Kong.
