What we are looking for: Metros Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to service patients in their homes in Eastern Nassau & Western Suffolk County.  Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience in treating adults and dysphagia are encouraged to apply.  Caseload demographics include: Aphasia Dysphagia School-Age (optional) Voice Cognitive Communication Disorders AAC use progressive neurological conditions etc.

Qualifications :

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible for CF
• Evaluates a patients need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members Home Health Aides and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid AED & CPR Certifications (live course)
